Founded in 1999, Speaking of Lacan (SOL) is a Toronto based non-profit organization dedicated to the study of Lacanian psychoanalysis. This group is an independent and self-supporting forum for clinicians, scholars and students from a variety of disciplines who are interested in the elaboration and advancement of Lacanian theory and praxis. SOL regularly holds seminars, workshops and discussion groups with guest speakers from Europe and North America.
